Ecoresponsibility
A philosophy that guides each of our decisions.
At Constellations, eco-responsibility is not just a word, but A philosophy that guides each of our decisions.. From design to production, we prioritize durable, local materials with a low environmental footprint.

Energy efficiency and sustainable design
At Constellations.house, we design building envelopes that are airtight yet breathable, reducing energy loss while allowing natural moisture circulation. By using high-performance membranes, our projects require less energy for heating and cooling, making them more energy-efficient, durable, and environmentally responsible.
We also manufacture all of our built-in furniture with PureBond finishing plywood from Columbia, produced 100% in Quebec. Free of toxic agents and bonded with soy-based adhesive, this signature material of Constellations reflects our commitment to health, sustainability, and quality.

Research and innovation supported
To refine our approach and innovate in our methods, we have received several grants that allowed us to deepen our research in eco-responsibility. Among them:
- Écoleader: enabled us to develop our manufacturing pivot and refine our sustainable production processes.
- CAE Rive-Nord: gave us the opportunity to collaborate with René Couture, eco-responsibility specialist, and André Turcotte, former president of Profab, leveraging their expertise in our strategic development.
Thanks to the contribution of Écoleader and CAE Rivenord, we were able to carry out this study. It shows that an energy-efficient prefabricated structure outperforms a standard construction in several key aspects: insulation, energy efficiency, durability, air quality, speed of implementation, and maintenance costs.
